I love assisting individuals and couples with relationship skills, communication issues, changing self defeating patterns, healing pain (physical and emotional), and learning to be one's best self across settings. I work with children and families in our ever changing world to improve relationships, performance, self awareness, mood, behavior. I bring my many years of experience working with young and old alike to this passionate pursuit of balanced living.
I work holistically to assist people in building skills and practices that support healthy living. This includes our relationship to self, family, people, work, spirituality, addictive behaviors and change. I use many proven strategies seasoned with a deep respect for each person's inner knowing and quest for individualized wholeness.
I work with families to heal attachment, reduce fear, anger, anxiety and increase respect and harmony to the family system. Alongside counseling, I am trained in mindfulness and indigenous approaches to healing which build balance, inner knowing and strength. I am also a Healing Touch Certified Practitioner of Energy Medicine. I offer this modality separately or in conjunction when appropriate. Energy Medicine is helpful in healing trauma, changing deeply held energetic patterns that drive behavior, clearing out and balancing the energy field so that new patterns can be created intentionally.
