I am committed to providing therapy in which a client’s most authentic, true self is recognized and supported. My approach has worked well for clients seeking therapy for various reasons, including survivors of direct and/or intergenerational trauma, mood and anxiety disorders, body-focused repetitive behaviors, and those seeking to explore their sexuality and/or gender identities.

I draw from psychodynamic, CBT and DBT therapies, tailoring treatment specifically to what works best for you. Whether you are brand new to therapy or have previously been in treatment, I know that fostering a relationship with a new therapist can be daunting and I aim to make it a little less so with kindness and understanding.

Varied emotional states can disrupt mental processing and create potential for misinterpreting information. These miscommunications hinder our ability to maintain relationships, foster deeper connections, and limit our identity and growth. We explore the depressive, anxiety, overwhelming, and other feelings that disrupt our ability to interact with our own and others’ thoughts and feelings.
