About
Finding someone you feel comfortable talking with is important when searching for a good therapist. My clients have described me as genuine and easy to talk to about life challenges. I think of myself as a coach or guide who helps you make connections, learn new ways to manage life and enhance your own unique strengths. My clients would describe my therapeutic style as supportive, nurturing, authentic, active, validating, and insight-building.
Many people begin treatment with complaints of depression, anxiety, relationship struggles, difficulty managing stress and/or general discontent. I have worked with people struggling with depression and anxiety, trauma and neglect, addiction, body image, self esteem, life transitions, relationship stress and conflict, as well as academic and professional stressors.
People who complete therapy, leave with practical tools and skills to manage things on their own. If this feels like a good fit, contact me to schedule a consultation meeting. I look forward to hearing from you.
