My name is Mireya Roe and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I graduated with a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology in 2009 and have more than 20 years of experience working in the mental health field, to include providing psychotherapy. I enjoy working with individuals ages 13 and up. My practice style is dependent on the needs and strengths of the individual I am working with utilizing Goal Oriented, Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavioral, Mindfulness, and Person-Centered methods.
I specialize in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy which are highly effective in treating symptoms secondary to trauma and PTSD.
Helping people overcome mental distress including anxiety, panic attacks, depression, & bi-polar is not only a passion but area of expertise. I take a holistic approach viewing wellness as an interconnection of parts to include physical, emotional, social, and spiritual.
