I offer psychotherapy to individuals and couples who reside in California, New York, Oregon, and Kentucky. I offer clinical supervision to associates residing and working in the state of California. As a psychotherapist, I am flexible and tailor my approach to the need of each client. I have been trained in many modalities that offer various benefits, depending on your needs and preferences (EMDR, AEDP, Sensorimotor, Psychodynamic/Psychoanalytic, Somatic). As a clinical supervisor, I supervise from a primarily psychodynamic orientation. I am trauma and anti-oppression informed.
I work relationally, somatically, and with psychodynamic/psychoanalytic understanding. I view the experiences which lead you to seek counseling, and the therapeutic relationship, within the larger social context, and understand this context through a lens of intersectionality. I believe we all have an innate capacity for healing and regeneration.
I am trained in the body-centered, mindfulness oriented treatment modalities of: Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). These modalities use the latest neuroscience research to inform the treatment of trauma and attachment/relational trauma.
