I work with couples, families and individuals who want to begin to explore difficulties within their relationships. I offer a relational space that focuses on feeling safe and understood. My approach is from a family systems lens applying emotionally focused therapy, in which I have over 100 additional hours of training and supervision. My ideal client includes family and couple relationships who are impacted by childhood trauma, addiction, intimacy concerns, non-traditional and blended families, social and cultural diversity factors, LGBTQ+, high conflict, the family court system, and more.
As a family therapist, I am most interested in the relational and contextual aspects of client's lives. Our families and family stories shape us and the relationships we interact with, including what we give and receive. Using evidence-based approaches I have had good outcomes with the clients I work with who are motivated toward making changes.
I have a good record for working in a relaxed and collaborative that is natural. Clients report my approach helps improve their relationships, deepens connections and reduce repeat conflicts. In addition to 50-53 minute weekly sessions, I offer couples intensives and workshops. My evening times are waitlisted and I have daytime availability.
