Hello! I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of professional experience. I have worked in a variety of settings with a diverse population including those experiencing depression, anxiety, substance use, trauma, foster care, adoption, grief/loss, poverty, homelessness and incarceration. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, elderly, couples and families. I enjoy working with people in all life stages and I work to meet you where you're at. I can help you learn techniques to prioritize your mental health, communicate better and have more fullfilling relationships.
I utilize multiple treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution Focsed Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. For couples I often use the Gottman Method and for families I often use Structural, Systemic and Strategic Family Therapy.
I believe that therapy looks different for each person and I strive to provide a supportive and non-judgmental therapeutic setting based on compassion, trust, and honesty where we can work together to utilize your own individual strengths to reach your goals and to be able to better manage the stressors in your life.
