Hi! My name is Miranda and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in Kansas, Missouri & Texas. I'm currently under clinical supervision for my Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW) licensure. I'm a trauma-focused therapist with multiple certifications, who is EMDR trained. I have experience working with differently-abled individuals, refugees & asylum-seekers, and people from all backgrounds living with various challenges. I am very passionate about working with clients who have experienced trauma, particularly helping professionals. I also love serving the perinatal population.
My therapeutic approaches include trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy (EMDR) and mindfulness. I see individuals (4yo+), couples & families. I also provide services alongside my dog, Cora.
My office hours are Monday and Wednesday 9a-5p, Tuesday and Thursday 9a-7p, and Friday 9a-1p.
