Beginning the journey to finding healing and wholeness can be scary. That’s why I believe in partnering with clients to guide them through the process of growing, learning, and becoming themselves. I use trauma-informed individual talk therapy, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help clients reach their goals in a confidential and welcoming atmosphere. I strongly believe that all people have the right and potential to heal and grow and I look to empower all clients through the use of evidence-based practice.
I take a trauma-informed approach when working with clients with a history of trauma. I do have experience working with clients who have a diagnosis of PTSD and have a special interest in working with clients who have experienced trauma, including sexual trauma. My desire is to help all people find healing and wholeness in themselves.
I enjoy working with both adults and teens and believe it is never too late to begin therapy. I recognizes that teens often feel disconnected from adults and may have a difficult time relating. I take pride in my ability to build rapport with teen clients and love to help them reach their full potential.
