I am Miranda Bortmas, a Licensed Social Worker with 10 years of experience in the field. I am passionate about helping individuals heal and live the life they envision for themselves. I specialize in depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship concerns, major life transitions, grief, interpersonal conflicts, and work stress. I completed my Master of Social Work (MSW) at the University of Pittsburgh in 2018.
I utilize multiple treatment modalities, including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness, acceptance and commitment therapy, solution-focused therapy, strength-based therapy, person-centered therapy, and problem-solving therapy. These approaches allow me to tailor treatment to you.
