I have counseled individuals battling substance abuse, bipolarism, anxiety, depression, and other mental illnesses. As a gradate of Texas A&M University Corpus Christi I earned a Masters degree in Counseling with an emphasis in Clinical Mental Health. Certified in Mental Health First Aid through the City of Corpus Christi, I am also experienced in providing counseling services to victims of violent crimes and domestic abuse. My overall objective is to assist the client as they navigate their way through difficult and sometimes traumatic events to help them reach their goals of obtaining optimum mental health wellness.
I am skilled in facilitating (EMDR) counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and other therapeutic approaches. I work with a diverse multicultural community and my goal is to provide a safe environment for effective and appropriate therapeutic counseling for my clients.
