Most of us, if not all of us, come to a point in life where we need to regain our balance and redefine our goals. I know so because I have seen my clients, friends, and myself in such situations. By working together with you, I can help you to focus, mobilize your inner strength and establish new strategies to overcome problems that have become apparent.
Topics that I handle (but I am not restricted to) are grief and trauma coping, relationship or family issues, anger management, and cultural or generational conflicts.
Our goal will be to define the issue, adjust, become effective again and re-discover satisfaction in life.
Based on my ample work experience I feel comfortable working with adults or with children using conservative talking therapy as well as more creative approaches such as art or play therapy.
I also offer newer approaches such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a form of therapy developed to help the individual cope with disturbing and unresolved life experiences and traumas.
