Hi there! I am an Asian/Korean American woman and a first-generation immigrant. I am passionate about helping women trapped in cycles of perfectionism, people-pleasing, or complex trauma to reconnect with themselves. I believe that therapy is most effective when the therapist and client have a strong connection. Many people describe me as gentle, compassionate, and understanding, which I believe are essential qualities in fostering a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship.
I take an integrative approach to therapy, with a strong emphasis on Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy. DBT supports the balance between acceptance and change, while psychodynamic work helps uncover the deeper roots of long-standing patterns and behaviors.
Our therapeutic journey will be fully personalized to your values, personality, social identities, interests, history, and goals. My goal is to create a welcoming space where you feel safe and empowered, no matter where you are in your healing journey.
