I am a neurodivergent (AuDHD) therapist who specializes in the treatment of trauma & working with survivors of narcissistic abuse and emotional manipulation. I also specialize in working with neurodivergent individuals and couples. I believe strongly in the importance of addressing the systems of institutional racism & systemic poverty that exist in our current society. I acknowledge racial trauma & the consistent traumatization which often results due to living as an ethnic minority in the U.S.
I am a sex-positive neurodiversity-affirming provider who utilizes a direct, culturally sensitive, non-judgmental, warm, validating, accepting, and supportive interpersonal style. In addition to trauma, I also have lived experience with ASD and ADHD, and I enjoy working with adults who are learning to navigate living with ASD and/or ADHD.
My belief is that when you name it, and frame it, you tame it. I believe knowledge is power, and I I will educate you on everything I possibly can about your mental health to empower you to make decisions for your care and for your life. While therapy is about your goals, my goal as a therapist is to empower you to take control of your life.
