ONLINE Support Group for Parents of Children with Autism or Special Needs. The focus of the group is to provide support and psychoeducation for parents: To learn how to communicate with their children; To learn how to use positive discipline; To learn how to develop structure within the family dynamics ; To develop positive self-image as parents ; To identify thinking patterns that affects their behaviors and parenting style with their children ; To discuss issues impacting their mental health and functioning ; Provide mutual support and decrease isolation of members via support within the group ; To improve members’ knowledge of resources in their community
