Life can feel really overwhelming sometimes. Whether you are struggling with major life changes, struggling with your career, anxiety, a chronic health issue (such as Endometriosis), Infertility (personal and immense professional experience), or just general anxiety, sometimes you just need a neutral person to talk to. Our family and friends can mean well and can offer great support, but there are some periods in our lives where we need help building coping skills and strategies to become mangers of our thoughts, not reactors.
In building more flexibility through Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), emotions can become more manageable and depression/anxiety symptoms can become less intrusive. I am licensed in Illinois and Iowa and offer Telehealth on a safe, HIPAA compliant server, from the comfort of your own home!
I have extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I am also a Registered Art Therapist (ATR).
