I received my MA in Counseling Psychology from Indiana Wesleyan University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), specializing in working with men and women who are having difficulty balancing life and a variety of struggles (ranging from addictions, relationships, work, parenting, depression, anxiety, PTSD, etc.). I work with survivors of abuse, domestic violence, and complex sexual trauma; substance abuse; families impacted by porn or infidelity; and veterans or first responders who are having difficulty managing the impact of their work. At this time, I see clients individually and I am not seeing couples.
I am trained in EMDR. I've also led short term trips and facilitated counseling seminars internationally. We spent 18 months living and working in Sri Lanka. Also, being married to a former-first-responder has shaped my understanding of the difficult and heavy nature of "front lines" work.
I've enjoyed 20 years of working with clients -- witnessing trauma and brokenness, as well as the amazing human capacity for restoration. I consider myself extremely blessed to walk with others through difficult and painful life experiences towards health, healing, and restoration.
