It can be difficult under normal circumstances to know when to seek outside help for your child. If your child is experiencing distress or engaging in behaviors that are interfering with their ability to participate successfully in life, then you are on the right track in seeking additional support. I work in collaboration with children and the adults in their life to help target goal areas and provide practical support. As a licensed school psychologist I have a range of experience working with children-teens in support of their social, emotional, learning, and behavioral needs in private and public school settings.
I specialize in treating anxiety and work collaboratively with the child/teen as well as their parents. I provide education on how anxiety works in our brains/bodies and then guide your family through a step-by-step process in diminishing its impact. I can also provide comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations when additional investigation is needed.
