For thirty-five years I've helped many find their curious and awake mind, and the wisdom of the body experience. The process of unraveling struggle, reprocessing trauma, learning skills, and awakening is a beautiful life-affirming one. I use ancient traditions such as mindfulness, and current findings to help my clients find their vitality, awareness, and well-being.
I offer Mindfulness-Based Somatic Psychotherapy to individual adults and children, as well as couples and families. These techniques are used collaboratively for an individualized therapy addressing many issues including depression, anxiety and trauma.
My approach is especially helpful in addressing stress, change, and trauma that is historic or recent. Focusing attention on the present moment helps us know who we are, how we developed, our thoughts, emotions, needs,and how to achieve balance. Curiosity, kindness, and compassion are hallmarks of healing.
