As an integrative psychotherapist, I have an engaged, relational approach grounded in trauma, attachment, neuroscience, EMDR, mindfulness, social justice, and climate-aware counseling. In working with you I am direct and proactive with the goal to create an environment in which you can become who you truly are. Our work together includes looking at your personal, family and cultural history, and the beliefs you hold about yourself and the world. We also may incorporate your dreams, memories or paying attention to the language expressed in your body.

Having grown up in Germany, lived, studied and worked within multiple cultures and languages, I see how diversity, social structures, and gender roles shape people’s lives. Finding Support in The Climate Crisis
This 8 week in-person group is for people who feel the immenseness of the collapse of our planet. Whether you feel existential dread, eco anxiety (fear of environmental doom), sleeplessness, irritability, and other complex feelings around loss, grief, dependency and guilt for losses that have already occurred and those that are to come - this group will be a place for you. Through earth-body-and compassion based contemplative practices, community support, teachings about our nervous system and other coping tools, we will strengthen our emotional resiliency, build social cohesion and a more collectivist orientation needed to face this crisis.
