I offer therapy for children, adolescent teens, and adults who suffer from a manifestation of psychological issues. These issues may include anxiety, depression, PTSD, personality disorders, disruptive, impulse-control, conduct disorders, and substance abuse issues. Psychological issues are difficult for individuals to surmount independently; therefore, with education and specialized therapy services, these individuals can not only learn how to develop coping mechanisms, but learn how to implement them. The Cognitive Behavioral Theory Approach is implemented with clients because it focuses on how an individual thinks can change feelings, behaviors, and distorted thinking patterns. The Client Centered and Existential Theory Approach are also implemented in therapy.
I possess twenty-eight years in the Radiology/Nuclear Medicine profession communicating with patients and aiding in the diagnosis of disease. Within the past three years, I achieved the necessary education needed in the mental health profession to aid clients in resolving psychological issues and promoting mental well-being.
Depression and Anxiety Disorders, Bipolar, Disruptive, Impulse-Control, and Conduct Disorders, Trauma and Stressor-Related Disorders, and Substance-Related and Addictive Disorders. I am in the process of gaining specialized education in the Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing. This specialization is advantageous for helping individuals' process unresolved trauma and transforming negative beliefs with simple eye movements.
