Groups
Injured Athlete Recovery Group
Led by a mental performance consultant, this group offers injured athletes a place to share their struggles and learn mental skills that will improve their recovery and return to play status. Having a group of peers who understand what you are going through and support your recovery can be invaluable. Research shows that athletes who participate in mental skills training while injured recover better! During rehab, training your physical skills has to pause, training your mental game does not.

Injured Athlete Recovery Group
This injury-recovery group gives young athletes a supportive space to rebuild confidence, manage setbacks, and stay connected to sport during rehabilitation. Through guided discussion and skill-building, participants learn coping strategies for fear of re-injury, frustration, and performance pressure. Facilitators introduce sport psychology tools such as goal setting, visualization, and positive self-talk to maintain motivation and focus. The group also reinforces communication with coaches, parents, and medical providers while encouraging adherence to recovery plans. Overall, the goal is to help athletes return to play feeling mentally resilient, socially supported, and better prepared to handle future challenges.
