I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois. I’m experienced in addressing various mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma/PTSD, life transition/stressors, relational problems, and self-esteem issues. I'm most passionate about supporting people with Borderline Personality Disorder, Anxiety, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I have experience working in various mental health treatment settings such as an outpatient therapy office, inpatient psychiatric hospital, and residential treatment center.
I strive to create an affirming environment where clients can safely explore their inner worlds, heal past wounds, and grow as a person. I believe effective therapy relies on genuine therapeutic relationships built on collaboration and trust.
I draw techniques from modalities such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR). I utilize appropriate approaches that are tailored to the individual’s specific needs and circumstances.
