My ideal client is curious and open, ready to roll up their sleeves with me to find out what's keeping them stuck. Whether its negative relational patterns, daunting thoughts, or paralyzing emotions, my goal is to dive in with a gentle and curious lens to help you understand what's getting in the way. I am energized by helping clients understand their family of origin and its effect on their current relationships, peer into past traumas that bring emotional burdens to their current life, and find healthier and more effective ways to cope with life's inevitable stressors.
I am an anxiety therapist in Austin and I work with individuals to work through depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, identity, trauma, and understanding one’s family of origin. My counseling methods are grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB), and Bowen Family Systems.
I believe the chance to create a warm, compassionate, nonjudgmental space for clients to feel welcome to work through life's stressors, anxieties, and fears is a great privilege and responsibility. I believe some of our deepest hurt comes from relationships and that we are all capable of healing through relationship. I find joy in being that safe space.
