I am a custodian, wiping away the debris off of someone of immeasurable value; who does not realize his or her value. My goal is for patients to recognize their incredible worth, and the abundance of personal strengths and tools they have inside themselves. As a professional counselor, I have walked alongside people on their journeys to healing and wholeness since 1981. My client population includes children, adolescents and adults. I work with individuals as well as families. I facilitate numerous groups and skills training curriculum in various topics including adolescent first offenders, anger management, divorce and separation, parenting, and teen issues.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 7 yrs of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I have worked in children's residential treatment, addiction, in-patient acute mental health, and adult and juvenile correctional settings. I believe that each client has their own unique story. I enjoy helping indivuals to process through their issues and make positive steps forward in achieving their therapeutic goals. Society Today is faced with multiple Life stressors ranging from Financial, Marital, Relational, issues with employment and or Life In General. Through Therapy, an Individualized Improvement Plan can be devised and implemented to assist individuals with coping and possibly overcoming the issues they are facing. Adolescents and Teens are complicated, and I am eager to assist. Teen groups are available as well as individualized treatment. Two people working together are always better than one. As a therapist I have learned the more input a client contributes to their therapeutic goals the better the outcomes and success possibility.

In addition, I am a LCPC-S licensed by the state of Maryland. I also have a doctorate in Educational Leadership. I love working with individuals between the ages of 13 yrs old to 65+. Being a military veteran, my goal is to be of service to those who need my assistance. I do not have a set way of conducting therapy.
