About
My ideal client is someone who needs help making the transition to a more positive life. This could be helping a young person make the transition into fully independent adulthood or a couple transition into a more loving and mutually respectful relationship. I can help clients with anger, anxiety, depression and self esteem issues. I tailor my approach to therapy for the individual client, drawing from many different therapeutic disciplines. I am most comfortable with REBT/CBT, but I sometimes use some Narrative, and Solution Focused techniques. Whatever works best to help the client make a positive change in their life.
I have over 25 years of experience working with teens and young adults through Job Corps, Boys & Girls Club, schools and as a Boy Scout executive and leader. I enjoy working with children, couples, families, and adults from all populations. I have worked with clients who suffer from trauma, anxiety, anger, lack of coping skills, behavioral issues, and ADHD.
I have lived and traveled extensively all over the United States and Europe and love working with people from diverse religious and ethnic backgrounds. I have been married for over 20 years. I am dedicated to helping individuals & couples make a positive change in their lives. Contact me and lets work toward making the transition to a more positive life.
