About
I specialize in providing a trauma focused, individual psychotherapy for adults of various ages, applying psychodynamic and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) treatment modalities. My approach to therapy is collaborative in nature, with a great emphasis on establishing a warm supportive relationship. I utilize a context of therapeutic relationship to help clients develop insight and awareness of the unconscious elements of their psychology that have a strong impact on their lives. I assist every client in the quest to generate a deeper meaning and address internal obstacles to accomplishing personal goals.
I’m passionate about treating individuals who are stuck and struggle with PTSD, childhood trauma, relational problems, domestic violence, emotional regulation issues, substance use disorders, severe mental illness, and academic performance problems.
My treatment philosophy is to tailor my approach to the needs of each client and help develop coping mechanisms and personal resiliency. If you feel at a loss, disconnected from family and social life, struggle to achieve personal goals, and are looking for additional support, I would like to assist you in working through your challenges.
