Our lives are suddenly shifting as we adjust to a new way of living, new anxieties, and new ways of relating with each other. Whether you are seeking counseling to address your mood, relationships, or the uncertain future, I will help you find a path to improved emotional health. Together we will identify what you can control, your obstacles and strengths, and healthy coping strategies. While space will be created to explore your past, I am mindful of staying on track for you to make positive change for yourself. I am an active participant in the therapy process, and approach each person with honesty, compassion and directness.
I work with adults and teens presenting with relationship and family concerns, anxiety, depression, and other mood disturbances. I have extensive experience with college students, and help women navigate family planning, pregnancy and parenting. I am solution-focused and use CBT and Mindfulness in my work. I also offer career assessments and counseling.
I am a certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor (Adult & Youth), as well as a suicide prevention QPR Instructor. I am passionate about sharing these impactful programs with communities. We can be healthier together when we learn the skills to help each other in times of emotional need, sometimes even saving a life. Courses are available upon request.
