I see clients of all ages and populations. My goal for clients at the ending of therapy is to feel as though I gave them the skills and initiative to get through any obstacle in their life and be okay regardless of the outcome. I have a lot of experience with severe mental illness, including Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorder, and many more. I work with clients to accomplish their wants and needs for life being able to center their therapy around the client and their unique, individual aspects.
I am trained in EMDR and have previously worked in the sexual assault/ domestic violence area as well as hospital and community mental health settings. I have been on call, speaking with crisis patients. I also have previously worked with at risk youth in their homes in the community and have worked with couples, families and individuals.
I want to help clients navigate the highs and lows of life. If you were meant to be the only person on this earth, you would be, and this stands to reason that we need other people in our lives.
