About
My approach to therapy is "come as you are and let's get down to work” in an environment of acceptance, compassion, and kindness. I am able to get to the heart of complex problems, gently and creatively challenging old patterns of thought and behavior to collaboratively find simple solutions my clients can begin implementing that day. With nearly 30 years’ diverse experience spanning the fields of social work/mental health care, law enforcement, and psychotherapy, I understand the vital importance of a healthy outlook on life, including work/life balance, healing from trauma, and maintaining healthy relationships.
In our first session, we will begin setting goals together and determining the best course of treatment. I am well-versed in multiple modalities, pulling from CBT, ACT, DBT, Mindfulness, Psychodynamic, Client-Centered, Solution-focused and The Gottman Method. Every client is unique, and I work hard to tailor treatment to their specific needs.
Whether you desire just a few sessions to work through a specific problem, or need more time to tackle some deeper issues, I am here to help you regain the life you desire. Scheduling is EASY through "online scheduling" on our website or you can call me. I look forward to working with you.
