I’m a licensed clinical psychologist based in Brooklyn, NY working with adolescents, adults, and couples. While therapy looks different for every person I work with, I believe it must always begin with a relationship that is honest and nonjudgmental, that is affirming, and that takes care of the tender parts of us while also attending to the need for growth and evolution. As a queer Jew, my practice is rooted in a psychodynamic, liberatory framework and I work from a developmental and sociopolitical lens. Many folx I work with struggle with marginalization, trauma, depression, anxiety, eating/body image and issues in relationships.
My first focus is always on building a trusting and open relationship. We will identify the patterns that keep you stuck and how they came to be in order to alleviate your suffering as it currently exists. Through the relationship, I work with clients to empower themselves to move through life more freely, consciously, and in deeper relationship to others.
