If it was that easy we'd have all done it already and you wouldn't be reading this. But it's just not that easy, despite what other people may want us to believe.
Brains are weird. We have emotions and thoughts that don't always makes sense to us. Stuff hurts and we don't know why. Stuff is hard and the world is telling us it -shouldn't- be hard, but it is. Traumas, big & small, recent & distant, wreck us.
And NO ONE teaches us how to navigate it. Not emotions, not thoughts, not anything.
