I’m not going to lie, therapy is hard. It will challenge you and force you to change, and no one really likes change. But you wouldn’t be here if you weren’t looking for change. The greatest honor of my career is getting to sit with you while you try. You’ll ugly cry and we’ll laugh and we’ll both make mistakes and I’ll give you that therapist nod that you only hate a little bit.

I am trained in working with trauma and eating disorders, and I specialize in religious trauma and cult recovery and frequently work with individuals and systems that have had to navigate high control or rigid belief systems. I commonly work with issues ranging from anxiety, depression, and addiction, to anger, shame, grief, and relational conflicts.
My job (and I love my job) is to make it a little easier, a little less shameful, less scary, to look at the pieces of your life you don’t like to look at. This way you’re actually addressing the root of your concerns and not just piling more bandages on.
