Hello, I am Miguel! My name is Miguel Balderas, and I am an LMFT providing telehealth services to clients throughout the state of California. I work with adults, specializing in couples with relationship issues and individuals with anxiety, stress, depression, grief and loss, and trauma. I utilize a client-centered approach that is non-judgmental, and empathic, and maintain an open mind to help people find solutions to the issues they bring to therapy. Each person’s perspective of their experiences is unique, and I work with clients to develop a treatment plan that is uniquely tailored to work for them.
People are the experts of their lives and can change behaviors through self-awareness, self-reflection, and focus on what is meaningful and productive in their lives while establishing and maintaining healthy lifestyles and healthy relationships.
I will use various approaches depending on the client’s needs, regularly using concepts from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Psycho-dynamic, Narrative Therapy, and others. I also provide Christian-based counseling.
