As a queer, mixed-race Asian woman, I empathize with the struggles of healing oneself and exploring identity. Whether you are coping with anxiety, depression, difficulties in relationships, systemic societal issues, or are realizing how your past may be impacting the way you see the world now, I am passionate about supporting you in a nonjudgmental and curious way. Together, we can find an approach that feels uniquely right for you.
I will be by your side as you explore deep self-reflection, radical self-acceptance, positive reframing, emotional regulation, and mindfulness. We might utilize talk therapy, arts-based activities, narrative/writing reflection, grounding exercises, and strategies from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
In addition to being a clinician, I am also a performing artist and music professor. So, I bring a unique perspective to my work. I am honored to support anyone who aligns, and I feel best equipped to work with women, women of color, queer and trans individuals, and anyone exploring your intersecting identities.
