I am Michelle “Micky” Greene, a therapist and Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who strives to create a safe, nonjudgmental space for each person I serve. I have experience treating a diverse range of diagnoses and life challenges such as trauma/PTSD, depression, anxiety, and LGBTQIA+ issues. I earned my Master's degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and majored in psychology and gender/sexuality/women’s studies at William & Mary. I use a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach to build a genuine relationship with my clients.
I use a blend of therapeutic interventions—such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and motivational interviewing—to meet each client’s unique needs. While I enjoy working with the LGBTQIA+ community and specialize in treating trauma survivors, I sincerely welcome all clients.
No matter what your struggles may be, I will bring my warm and calming presence to each session. I have an authentic desire to understand and connect with the real you, and I am excited to help you become the person you want to be.
