I have worked extensively for years with men, women, and children who have struggled with anger and domestic abuse issues. The focus is on learning skills and techniques to address behaviors as well as therapeutic education to address the thought processes which attribute to those behaviors. In addition, I work with men, women, and children dealing with other issues. I treat all of my clients with dignity and respect. Focusing on individual strengths and utilizing encouragement and support, clients who wish to make real changes for their lives will have the necessary skills to do so.
I really enjoy working with children! I am concerned that parents believe their child's behavoir is the problem. When more than not, it is their child's solution to the problem. " Fix my child! " doesn't work. Parents who get involved increase the chances of improvement in their child.
I offer noncondemning practical counseling for those who want to improve their life and finally put themselves first. Not in a selfish way, but in a healthy way so that you can help others in your life. You get to make the choices. You get to be responsible!

Men's anger management/domestic abuse
24 sessions of group therapy that meets the MN statutes for a domestic abuse program. We are on many county's referral lists for court ordered people. All of our groups for domestic abuse and anger management meet these standards. Self reffered people attend as well and can improve their lives by learning new anger management skills.
