One certainty in life is that each day will bring something new; sometimes joy, sometimes sorrow, sometimes stress. Because life stressors (even good stress) can take a toll on the human body and spirit, I offer a holistic approach to therapy. I believe it is most important to meet people where they are in life and I strive to provide a safe space to allow clients to heal and grow. I am here to guide others through the process of self-discovery and to empower them to walk through each day with confidence and conviction.

Welcome! I’m so proud of you for taking this huge, courageous step. I am deeply committed to individual and collective healing, holding a safe container where you can share your full, unfiltered truth without judgment. I approach therapy from a trauma-informed and healing-centered lens, recognizing that we are not only impacted by interpersonal trauma but also by systemic oppression- we carry the pain and resilience of our ancestors and communities. Together we will build on your strengths and work to transform your limiting beliefs about yourself into empowering beliefs, moving from negative self-talk to self-love and compassion.

I am temporarily licensed in Minnesota to support folks in processing traumatic events. I’m a social worker and educator whose main focus is Trauma/PTSD. My personal and professional experience have provided me with additional insight to support neurodivergent and LGBTQIA2S+ folks. My therapeutic style is quite non-traditional, which can be refreshing for those who haven’t felt supported by the rigidity that is common within clinical practice. I hope to be a safe space for you to feel seen and supported while exploring identity, seeking opportunities for growth and change, and/or continuing your healing journey.

The relationship between client and clinician is a key component of treatment efficacy. I believe that this therapeutic relationship is founded in a spirit of collaboration, an emotional bond and an agreement on goals and tasks. Two main characteristics of therapy are critical to the building of this therapeutic alliance: expertise and compassion. I am confident in my ability to help resolve any issues in a satisfying manner, prepared in both theory and practice, clear in my thoughts, ideas, and logical in the problem solving process. Of equal importance, I am accepting, understanding and genuinely interested in you and your needs.

If you’re here, chances are you’re feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or stuck in patterns that leave you hurting. Maybe anxiety keeps you up at night, depression makes it hard to get through the day, or grief has shaken your world. Perhaps you’re carrying the weight of trauma, struggling in a relationship that feels draining, or trying to hold it all together while silently falling apart inside. I want you to know—I get it. I understand how heavy it feels to wake up with dread, how lonely it is to feel unseen in your pain, and how confusing it can be to wonder if things will ever change. If it's time to make changes, I'm here for you.

Thank you for considering me for your therapy needs. Most of my clients have found me when they are at the end of their capacity, unable to untangle the knot that has developed in their lives. They feel stuck and need help figuring out their next steps, a safe place to process how they are feeling and what they are needing.

As a wise young woman reminded me recently, "Sometimes, it hurts to be human." Often what brings someone to a therapist's office is the experience of suffering or ineffectiveness. What keeps someone coming back is relief from suffering and the gaining of insight, acceptance, hope and effective skills that add joy, meaning and purpose towards a life well lived. I embrace faith, recovery, self-care, family, resiliency, vulnerability, humility, being mindfully present, and radical acceptance of what is, in order to fortify a solid foundation for positive change on a path to both feeling better and doing better.
