As a therapist, my primary goal is to help my clients have more choice and spontaneity in their lives, as well as greater satisfaction. I want to help alleviate suffering, whether generated from past traumatizing experiences or from current experiences. I believe that we all have many answers and great potential inside us but are often blocked from accessing our own wisdom, meaning we only function on a modest amount of this potential. It gives me great joy to help my clients find their answers and discover problem-solving abilities through the therapeutic process.

Therapy is an invitation to begin where you are, just as you are. My first goal is to listen well and to begin to understand you. While my training includes many therapeutic approaches informed by research, I see therapy most of all as a creative process that unfolds within a genuine relationship. I believe that good therapy is flexible and responsive - it can be gentle and compassionate, direct and challenging, and sometimes even very funny.

Looking to heal from a narcissistic relationship or trying to figure out what do about a relationship that you are currently in? Then I want to work with you. Common struggles of folks in difficult relationships also include: anxious attachments, people pleasing, boundary setting, parenting issues, feeling “triggered,” ADHD, abandonment issues, depression, anxiety, co-dependance, low self-esteem and/or low self-worth. These symptoms and attachments are often related to similar childhood experiences of abuse, neglect, and difficult parents. I would like to work with you to heal and grow from these patterns, feelings and struggles.

I want to work with you if you are between the ages of 25 and 55 and struggle with anxious attachment, people pleasing, setting boundaries, feeling triggered, anger, anxiety, depression, co-dependence, parenting issues, and ADD/ ADHD. These symptoms and attachment style are often related to each other and often related to similar childhood experiences of inconstant or abusive/neglectful caregivers. (ADD and ADHD is not cause by caregivers, however, when it goes undiagnosed in children, there is s strong correlation to symptoms described above)

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you're used to handling things on your own or aren't sure where to begin. Maybe you feel overwhelmed, stuck, or like you don't quite fit in. Maybe you're experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, difficulty connecting with others, or big life changes that leave you feeling lost or unsure. Or maybe the stories you've been told about who you're "supposed" to be don't fit for you. You're not alone. When what you’ve tried to change, avoid, or escape painful thoughts and feelings isn’t working, therapy can be a place to try something new.

Sometimes you're not sure what's wrong - you just know you don't feel like yourself anymore. You don't have to go through this alone. If you're navigating trauma, grief, betrayal, or ongoing mental health challenges, I want you to know: your pain is real, your questions are welcome, and healing is possible. I specialize in working with individuals who want clinically sound therapy that honors both their emotional health and their faith.

The specifics of what brings people to therapy varies widely and at the same time often boils down to similar themes of suffering, distress, and unease. Therapy is a deeply rewarding process that takes risk, time, and engagement from the client and therapist. I bring a depth of knowledge and clinical skill to our time together which makes session feel easeful and rewarding. I work with adults who are experiencing difficulties in their life related to depression, anxiety, life changes, grief, and issues within personal or professional relationships.

I also specialize in serving 1st responders and those who have experienced vicarious trauma and work stress. I believe we can resolve or lessen the effects of mental health and life stressors through the therapeutic process. If you have tried to "get it together", made the lists, set the reminders, given yourself the pep talks but somehow you’re still behind, still overwhelmed, still wondering why something that seems so easy for everyone else feels so hard for you, let's connect. Maybe you’ve been called scattered or “too sensitive” your whole life. You’ve been managing on your own for so long hat you may not even realize just how much energy it takes just to get through a regular day. Maybe you’re just tired. Tired of the anxiety that hums in the background, tired of the low moods that make simple things feel heavy.

I am the best fit for a family who has children between the ages from birth to 24 years old. I offer support to families who are struggling with challenging behaviors from their children and adolescents in home or at school. I offer a unique systemic approach that includes parents in the treatment process that is not found in many other practices. This systemic approach is extremely affective and helps keep parents in the loop and helps families complete the treatment goal faster than other approaches. As I believe therapy for children should be brief and solution focused so they can get back to being a kid.

You may know exactly why you're struggling and still feel unable to move forward. Many of my clients come to therapy after years of trying to understand themselves, only to find that insight alone hasn't created the change they hoped for. I specialize in helping adults heal from trauma, attachment wounds, and anxiety through nervous system-focused approaches that move beyond talking about problems and toward deeper healing. Together, we'll move beyond insight to address the deeper patterns that keep you feeling stuck and create meaningful, lasting change.

Are you noticing patterns of anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, or emotional reactions that seem difficult to change – no matter how hard you try? Sometimes the challenges we experience in adulthood are connected to earlier experiences that shaped how we learned to cope, protect ourselves, and relate to others. Therapy can provide a safe space to explore those deeper roots so real healing and lasting change can begin.
