I am an individual therapist with over ten years of experience working with survivors of trauma and intimate partner violence. More recently, my practice has expanded to focus on anxiety disorders, depression, and perfectionism. I am a trained teacher of Kristen Neff's Mindful Self-Compassion, a former DBT skills group facilitator, and student of RO-DBT. Over the past twenty years I have served as a teacher and trainer in settings ranging from elementary to graduate level classrooms and post-graduate continuing education workshops.
With mindfulness as the cornerstone of my practice, I draw from CBT, DBT, RO-DBT, ACT, and Compassion-Focused modalities. My style is relational, compassionate, and collaborative. I also specialize in the assessment and treatment of burnout and caregiver fatigue among therapists and other helping professionals.
I'm known as being both direct and compassionate, and value the opportunity to help people grow and reach their goals. I listen with the intent to understand, and use that perspective to determine the approach that will best work for you. Send me a message or give me a call to see if I might be a good fit. I look forward to hearing from you!
