I specialize in helping children navigate big feelings and emotional outbursts. I believe every child's behaviors are telling us something. In my practice, I work collaboratively with families to establish the coping skills and emotional regulation skills needed to build self-esteem and enrich relationships.
My approach is playful, compassionate, and deeply rooted in helping your child find their voice. Whether we are tackling anxiety or life transitions, my goal is to help your child connect with their strengths and live a more meaningful, enriched life.
My specialty is children! I love and understand children and the fantastic way they think and feel. As a child therapist I love giving a child knowledge, insight, and tools that they can use throughout their lifetime. I come from a mind-body approach, where mental health symptoms tell us we need to slow down and find the root cause of what's going on.
I use a mind-body approach with all of my clients. With children, I use play therapy to help address the root cause and support a child's nervous system at the same time. I am certified in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy and enjoy using these techniques to help my clients take control of their thoughts and feelings!
