Hi, my name is Michelle. I am a licensed therapist experienced in trauma focused therapy approaches. I've been working in the social work field in the Charlottesville area since 2015. I believe in a strength-based and relationship-focused approach in working with clients.
Through my experience in clinical social work, I have developed a passion for working with individuals who experience symptoms of anxiety, insecure attachment, and PTSD, particularly adult women and first responders.
I find an integrative approach to therapy to be most helpful for my clients. Our time together will incorporate the use of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), Parts Work, Somatic Interventions, Play Therapy, and Attachment Repair while leaning into the modality that you, as the client, find most supportive and helpful in your journey.
