About
Making the decision to enter therapy will probably be one of the most important decisions you make in your life; and choosing a provider will be equally as important. Make sure you choose someone who is compassionate, committed and knowledgeable regarding the issues that you will need help with. I am pleased and welcome your decision to choose me as your provider as we work together to make life changes.
I primarily do individual therapy using a Cognitive Behavioral Treatment approach. Because the only way to change unwanted behavior is to change unhelpful negative thoughts. I have a passion for working with individuals who have experienced childhood sexual abuse, or sexual trauma in adulthood as well as other types of traumas.
I am certified in Prolonged Exposure (PE) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT); and will conduct Written Exposure Therapy (WET). Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is another treatment approach I use for individuals having difficulty regulating their emotions, managing their distress or if having interpersonal difficulties.
