About
The ups and downs of life can be tough for us all. We strive every day to find a little more light, however, sometimes just as we are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel, an unexpected new challenge falls in our path. This can feel as if there is no way out. Counseling offers an avenue to work together to brighten this path. The experiences in our past impact the way we live our life today, how we cope with these challenges, and how we see our future. Finding the insight, self-knowledge and inner strength for better coping with our depression, anxiety, or uncertainty is the key to living our most fulfilling lives.
In working with individuals, couples and families, I utilize techniques from person-centered, emotion focused, cognitive behavioral and narrative therapy. Using a relational and collaborative approach, I bring experience with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, co-dependency, relationship issues, and family conflict. I am also trained in EMDR.
You don’t have to be alone in your journey to find healing. I would love to support you as you work through obstacles that have kept you from finding and being your best self.
