While I do work with people struggling with mental illness, I also work with those who would just like to gain perspective and increased effectiveness in their lives.
I am a believer in evidence based practices and use them to work with all clients, as appropriate. I have been trained in the use of Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Critical Time Intervention, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Sand Tray, play therapy techniques, and other evidence based practices.
I am an experienced counselor with 20 years of work in the field, both as a counselor and a supervisor of other counselors. My office is located in downtown Mobile. It is quiet and secure. Virtual and remote options are also available.
