I have worked with clients who have suffered with depression, grief, relationship issues, anxiety, life stage changes, obesity, binge eating and more. At the end of treatment, some clients report feeling more resilient with painful emotions which leads to healthier relationships and a more fulfilling life.
The primary focus of my therapy is mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy. Through mindfulness, clients practice noticing painful emotions without avoiding or judging them. This process is helpful in the treatment of anxiety, depression, eating disorders, relationship problems, and making life changes. "You are stronger than your strongest fears!"
It's important to mention that I have regular "licensing supervision" with a fully licensed psychologist to keep my practice ethical and to continue to grow professionally. I also believe in "practicing what I preach" and regularly engage in mindfulness practices and self-care to maintain balance.
