Our mental health and wellness impacts every aspect of our life. We are not meant to cope with life challenges or emotional pain on our own. In fact healthy community and relationships are essential for us to be able to thrive. In the context of therapy I am committed to supporting my clients in gaining greater understanding of themselves, deepen their relationships with others, and strengthen healthy ways of coping. One of my areas of focus is helping support individuals diagnosed with ADHD experience thriving (and joy), and feel empowered to advocate for themselves.
A safe, non-judgmental environment is essential. I work to foster a space where clients feel understood, and cared for, while also challenged to make life changes to reach their goals. My approach to therapy is collaborative, flexible, relational and multicultural. I often utilize psychodynamic, IFS, ACT & CBT & Narrative therapy interventions.
I’ve had the honor of working with clients seeking therapy due to painful experiences with organized religion, including those from the LGBTQ community, ex-evangelical, and former Catholic. Other areas of speciality include ADHD, life transitions, women’s issues, gender and sexual identity, parenting support, career satisfaction and relationship concerns.
