I am passionate about helping individual clients overcome trauma and difficult upbringings. I work well with clients who want a better understanding of themselves and a deeper level of healing from past hurts. I am direct, compassionate, and my most common theoretical approaches are utilize EMDR and a somatic approach in therapy. My purpose is to help clients achieve success in their lives by being direct but compassionate.
I have always been curious about people; what motivates us, how people can vary so much when they have similar backgrounds. I had success in therapy and decided to study psychology in undergrad and continue the path into grad school.
I work together with clients to create the most effective goals towards healing. I like to gather information about my clients in the first session to develop a treatment plan with them.
