I have 20 years' experience in the mental health field providing counseling to treat depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, life transitions, personal growth, and prenatal and postpartum difficulties. We all possess an innate healing wisdom and I approach therapy as a way of empowering each client to remember and uncover who they truly are. When we remember our basic goodness we can heal past wounds and liberate ourselves to live life more fully.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a level II EMDR practitioner. I also have many hours of continuing education in EMDR, IFS work, trauma informed care, and psychedelic assisted psychotherapy.
I provide a genuine, warm, and often humorous approach to help people feel safe and validated in the therapy process. I believe our relationship is where the healing begins. It is a gift to be a part of my clients' journey's back into wholeness.
