This NEW 8-session group, weekly through telehealth, aims to help teens navigate the complexities of living through the pandemic, and beyond. Each session is based on a specific theme, with emphasis on social and coping skills to manage unique feelings of anxiety, isolation, and post-pandemic concerns. Topics include: Social Media/Cyberbullying; Management of Anxiety; Self-Esteem and Resiliency; and MORE! The group will utilize an approach based on Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) that support three central tenants: Be Safe, Be Responsible, and Be Well. (Group will begin when there are at least 4 group members registered - spread the word!)
